What types of roles & educational backgrounds are included in CI and IE?
CI is made up of three teams: the Deployment team, the Methodology team, and the Sustainability team.
As Allstate’s literal Change Agents, our CI Deployment team is responsible for deploying the CI management system with the objective of working with business units to use the five CI lenses of process efficiency, organizational health, performance management, organizational design/skills, and the customer/agency owner experience.
As Trainers, the CI Methodology team maintains organization continuity by developing and maintaining systems that support Continuous Improvement talent management, training and development, and deployment planning.
As Allstate’s Sustainability Coaches, our CI Sustainability team ensures that the business matures in its use of our CI management system by assessing the effectiveness of the system post deployment, identifying and prioritizing development gaps, and developing and deploying action plans to address those gaps.

In our IE group, we have roles for data analysts, junior and senior project managers, and growth opportunities through multiple levels of team and department leadership. Our team members have a background in IE via school and experience. We highly value the combination of technical skills combined with the communication and leadership skills. If you enjoy spending a day in Excel, Minitab, R, and Python—and then presenting your findings to a leader to help them improve their business—this could be the right place for you.
