Job Description

The Supplier Risk Consultant is responsible for execution of enterprise supplier risk through the maintenance and governance of supplier risk programs.  The role is responsible for analysis and communication of Supplier Risk results to ensure compliance to the framework.  The role coordinates with stakeholders across the organization to promote supplier risk value proposition and drive a customer centric mindset.   

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing tools and information designed to drive consistency in assessing, managing, reporting, and communicating risks across Supplier Risk and Performance framework. 
  • Contributes to ongoing updating, refinement, documentation and communication of the Supplier Risk Management policy, procedures and related process. 
  • Prepares supplier risk assessments, issues management remediations, attestation and contract reviews, reporting and risk contingency plans.                
  • Contribute toward achievement of KPI’s and make suggestions for course corrections where necessary to deliver on targets. 
  • Contributes to project milestones associated with risk guidelines and processes for onboarding and offboarding vendors. 
  • Works with internal resources to produce operational reporting metrics. 
  • Accountable for adherence, reporting and corrective actions completion for all Supplier Risk Management policy and procedures

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • None

 

Functional Skills

  • Ability to influence others to achieve results by communicating clearly and fostering mutually beneficial internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrates a firm understanding of relevant 3rd party supplier management and risk management processes
  • Understanding of internal business processes, enterprise risk management, and business objectives.

  • Ability to think conceptually and analytically to assess problems, identify and consider potential solutions, and make timely recommendations
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple low complexity projects
