The Sr. Product Designer uses their user-centered design skills to help frame problems and provide innovative, interaction design solutions that meets user needs while fulfilling key business objectives in your specific domain. You are comfortable working on concepting and early discovery work, as well as iterating on an existing product. Collaboration and communications is core to their approach to ensure focus and effectiveness delivers success. The ultimate goal is to deliver value to end-users as quickly as possible and to help Avail build a personal transportation platform.
Product Design:
Create storyboards, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, UI Design assets, and other UX deliverables across a specific business to start and multiple units as you grow and evolve in your career. Participate in both the discovery and execution of UX deliverables grounded by clear rationales and high-quality feedback. Ensure outcomes are making an overall impact to the business and UX of our product with your product management counterpart(s).
Customer Focused:
Facilitate and/or Partner with UX Research to best understand needs and usability across your specific domain(s). Leverage
• 5-7 years of professional experience working as a Product or UX designer.
• Solid understanding of the design process, information architecture, and usability best practices.
• Online portfolio showcasing a range of both dynamic web and native mobile applications.
• Prior experience designing within complex ecosystems with multiple end-users types: consumers & owners (two-sided marketplace), and enterprise tools is preferred.
• Experience crafting experiences from discovery through execution in an iterative and agile environment.
• Master of distilling complex ideas or concepts to simple solutions.
• Comfortable co-leading design workshops or brainstorming sessions with various stakeholders.
• Proficient using Figma and Adobe Suite. Working knowledge of Confluence and Jira.
• Ability to demonstrate and drive projects forward that have an undefined direction.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Information Sciences, Psychology, Human Factors and or Human Computer Interaction design.
This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.
Compensation offered for this role is $116,000.00 – $134,800.00 and is based on experience and qualifications.
