Job Family Summary:
The purpose of the Treasury and Planning Department is to proactively and creatively lead/manage cash, liquidity, capital, M&A, ratings and corporate structure issues, for the purpose of increasing shareholder value, in partnership with the other functions in the company and with results/action-oriented people. Contributions to the financial strength and stability of The Allstate Corporation include analyzing financial results, leading the financial planning process, evaluating the utilization of capital, and making recommendations concerning corporate strategy.
This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.
Within Treasury and Planning, the Corporate Finance Team is responsible for managing corporate credit ratings, debt capital market activity, internal capital management, company structure, liquidity, and banking relationships. The Corporate Finance Treasury Analyst III will provide analytical and operational support, develop financial reporting, and maintain communication between key stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit materials for internal capital movement, including intercompany loans and dividends
- Prepare and submit materials for wire payments including debt interest and shareholder dividends
- Provide reports, analysis, research and presentations as needed to support key team functions
- Develop knowledge of major rating agencies and monitor company ratings
- Develop key internal and external relationships to complete key responsibilities
- Collaborate with and contribute to the success of all Corporate Finance Team members
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Math, Economics or related field or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of relevant experience; foundational knowledge of corporate finance is required; knowledge of insurance industry and capital markets is a plus
- Beginner to intermediate skills in spreadsheets, word processing, and presentations
- High degree of professionalism with good oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail; good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently; commitment to meeting assigned deadlines

Compensation offered for this role is $54,000 – $64,000 and is based on experience and qualifications.
