Job Description
The Regional Product Management Vice President, Go To Market (GTM) is accountable for top and bottom-line results for National General Specialty Vehicle and Household insurance within Property Liability Division and across all distribution channels, generating profitable growth and increased market share for an assigned geography that is complex in nature. As the Regional Product Management Vice President, GTM for their geography, the leader has full accountability for P&L decisions. They will oversee their geography and lead a dedicated regional cross functional team across to execute upon local growth and profitability objectives. They will lead the regional strategy of the operational functions including Sales, Operations, Legal, Technology, Finance and Claims to support local market needs. This position reports directly to the Product Management Senior Vice President.
Key accountabilities

Accountability for developing and leading short and long-term strategies and tactics to achieve growth and profit targets for assigned geography. Devise ongoing targeted execution plan to identify growth opportunities and profit levers available, while avoiding unprofitable segments.

Oversee assigned geography and lead through influence dedicated, cross functional team across Sales, Finance, Product Development/Actuary, Legal/Compliance Operations, Technology and Claims.

Collaborate with operational functions to ensure product strategies support local market needs. Understand and communicate marketplace and competitor knowledge.

Understand, represent, and align local economic and regulatory nuances with corporate strategies. Identify risks/exposures and how they translate into Product change.

Communicate corporate messaging, establish, and maintain strong relationships with agents and distribution channel leads, and drive engagement with employees and agents.

Ensure company objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and the employees.

Develop a corresponding talent strategy to ensure the team has the right skills and capabilities to deliver against the business strategy.

Manage operating plan, budget, cash flow and business finances.

Ensure that the business complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, best practices.
