Job Description
The Product Underwriting Quality Assurance Consultant II is responsible for coordinating training/quality activities and develops, presents, and evaluates training/quality programs to improve risk management operations in the Small Group Underwriting department, contributing to the attainment of the department objectives and goals regarding placement of risk.
Key Responsibilities
• Completes quality audits and reporting within established timeframes
• Conducts quality audits of operations core business processes
• Provides monitoring and evaluation services to improve department operations, promoting consistency of and adherence to departmental operating procedures
• Conducts research and provides recommendations concerning quality needs
• Prepares task analysis and prepares project development plans
• Provides advice to department management concerning training and quality issues
• Presents advanced technical quality programs and coordinates and participates in post-training program evaluations to gauge quality effectiveness
• Prepares advanced technical quality programs and materials, consistent with training needs and training/quality project development plans
• Develops performance improvement plans for learners and coaches and provides feedback as appropriate
• Coordinates training and quality activities in the assigned operating department
• Demonstrates superior knowledge of underwriting guidelines, workflows and practices, and state mandates to ensure appropriate risk selection when training/evaluating/mentoring underwriting staff
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation offered for this role is $52,260.00 – 92,790.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
