- Managing and measuring work, including delegation, prioritization, and leadership oversight
- Maneuvering through complex organizational and political situations
- Creating and delivering on comprehensive program strategy
- Skillfully negotiating work and commitments while maintaining positive relationships
Job Description
- This is a 6-month, part-time Talent Share with a time commitment of 25%.
- Candidates must be exempt employees and secure manager approval before applying.
- Claims candidates must also have approval up through CSA Leadership.
- Service Delivery (CCC, ISC, RMBC,ASIC, GEM/ASA) employees must also have director-level approval before applying for this Talent Share.
- Each EIG has five key leadership positions. We are seeking one candidate for each of the following positions:

Vice Chair – Connect & Belong | Asian Connection Network
Vice Chair – Connect & Belong | Native Peoples Network
Vice Chair positions report to the EIG Chair and have the support and guidance of ID Leaders.
- Successful candidates will work remotely with some potential requirements for travel based on EIG need or programming.
What You Will Do
- All Vice Chairs will provide input to and support the EIG Chair while leading committee members to deliver on the EIG’s defined strategy.
- Fostering a sense of community and support amongst EIG members and delivering on programming that engages and connects members will be driven by the Connect and Belong Vice Chair.
What You Will Learn
- Representing and promoting the EIG and its outcomes in conversations, events, and programming pertaining to their community, increasing the impact EIGs make and improving Allstate’s reputation as an inclusive employer.
- Establishing and communicating meaningful annual goals and then working collaboratively, efficiently, and effectively to achieve them.
- Defining and delivering on a plan that elevates the EIG during its heritage month and drives impact across all segments of the employee value proposition.
- Supporting the delivery and execution of the annual ID Conference.
- Managing a budget, monitoring projects, and overseeing delivery of those projects to ensure goals are met.
- Creating and maintaining partnerships with other EIGs, The Allstate Foundation, global partners, and all stakeholders.
