We identify exciting new product ideas and transform them into thriving businesses that meet evolving consumer needs.
Our team combines expertise in strategy, product development, design, technology, and data to deliver innovative, consumer-focused solutions. We don’t just imagine the future—we build it.
What We’ve Achieved So Far:
Expanded into device protection, including smartphones, through a major acquisition.
Entered the digital protection space through both in-house development and a significant acquisition.
Built a peer-to-peer car-sharing business from the ground up.
Explored the future of consumer data and artificial intelligence, leading to a strategic investment and joint product development with a cutting-edge technology startup.
Developed new solutions in the “buy now, pay later” space through proprietary technology and in-house innovation.
How We Work
Our projects typically feature lean, cross-functional teams with expertise in business strategy, product development, technology, and design. The Strategy and Operations function plays a critical role in helping Allstate identify, define, refine, build, launch, and grow new product and business opportunities in a highly integrated manner.
Strategy and Operations Managers optimize approaches and outcomes to deliver consumer value, business value, and support Allstate’s broader enterprise growth and transformation strategy. These managers quickly grow to lead initiatives with true cross-functional scope, taking ideas from zero to launch and beyond.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive strategies: Create holistic plans for selected opportunities, considering market dynamics, business models, and go-to-market approaches to craft the best path forward.
- Align with enterprise goals: Integrate new product strategies and business models with Allstate’s broader objectives to capture synergies and maximize impact.
- Lead cross-functional development: Drive the creation of new products and businesses by partnering with teams across design, technology, operations, finance, legal, and regulatory functions.
- Deliver successful launches: Execute large-scale launches of new products and businesses by collaborating with brand, marketing, sales, distribution, and customer service teams.
Relevant Experience
We are looking for versatile professionals with a proven track record of driving impact and owning outcomes. Ideal candidates will bring:
- Experience in product development and strategy: Background in roles focused on strategy or product within new product development efforts, ideally in environments where lean, cross-functional teams were responsible for success or failure (such as high-growth companies or innovation-focused consultancies).
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills: Ability to approach complex challenges with structured thinking, broad business acumen, and creativity. Skilled at analyzing market, technology, and consumer landscapes to identify what matters most and draw actionable conclusions. Comfortable working with technology and data, including practical applications of artificial intelligence.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management: Proven ability to simplify complex topics, influence diverse teams, and build strong relationships across all levels of an organization, including executive leadership.
- Execution in ambiguity: Thrives in uncertain environments, challenges conventional thinking, and delivers major strategic initiatives with creativity and confidence.
