Job Description
The Product Engineer – Fusion GRC Platform is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions using the Fusion platform. This role works closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering leaders to deliver scalable solutions that support Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Controls, Audit, Business Continuity, and Third-Party Risk functions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Fusion GRC implementation and configuration, along with hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, APIs, and enterprise integrations. The engineer will contribute to platform enhancements, integration development, automation initiatives, and production support activities while helping drive the organization’s GRC transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Fusion GRC Platform Development
- Configure, enhance, and support Fusion GRC platform capabilities.
- Participate in Fusion implementation projects including requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Configure workflows, assessments, questionnaires, forms, dashboards, and reports.
- Support implementation of Risk Management, Compliance, Controls, Audit, and Third-Party Risk processes.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and work with Fusion support and implementation partners to resolve defects.
- Assist in performing platform upgrades and feature rollouts.
Application Development
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices supporting Fusion integrations and business workflows.
- Develop reusable services and utilities for data synchronization, automation, and reporting.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architecture reviews.
Integration Development
- Design and implement integrations between Fusion and enterprise systems.
- Develop APIs and integration services connecting Fusion with: SAP ServiceNow SailPoint HR Platforms Procurement Systems Data & Analytics Platforms
- Support data migration, transformation, and reconciliation activities.
- Develop secure and scalable integration solutions following enterprise standards.
Agile Product Delivery
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Convert business requirements into technical solutions and development tasks.
- Deliver high-quality software features on schedule.
- Support user acceptance testing and production deployments.
Operational Support
- Provide production support and incident resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis for application and integration issues.
- Monitor platform performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support release management and deployment activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Risk, Security & Compliance
- Follow secure software development practices.
- Ensure solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit and compliance activities when required.
- Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, and access controls.
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree
Experience
- 6–7 years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Fusion GRC platform implementation, configuration, or support.
- Experience participating in enterprise Fusion deployment or enhancement initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile product delivery teams.
- Experience supporting business-critical enterprise applications.
