Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Broker who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and insurance solutions. In this role, you will work directly with customers, referral partners, and carrier partners to identify insurance needs, provide coverage recommendations, negotiate solutions, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-focused, and knowledgeable in personal and/or commercial lines insurance. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative brokerage environment while helping customers access tailored insurance solutions from multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities

Manage inbound and outbound customer interactions related to insurance inquiries, renewals, endorsements, and new business opportunities.

Assess customer needs and provide suitable insurance solutions through broker partner markets.

Obtain, analyze, and compare quotes from multiple insurance carriers to recommend the best coverage options.

Build strong relationships with customers, referral partners, and insurance carriers.

Identify opportunities to retain and grow customer business through cross-selling and value-added recommendations.

Ensure all applications, policy documentation, and underwriting information are accurate and complete.

Maintain compliance with brokerage, regulatory, and carrier guidelines.

Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
-
Stay current on insurance products, coverage enhancements, and industry trends.
-
Maintain detailed customer records and documentation within brokerage systems.
Qualifications
-
Active RIBO License in good standing required.
-
2+ years of insurance brokerage, personal lines, or commercial lines experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance products.
-
Experience working with multiple insurance carriers and broker markets is an asset.
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-
Proficiency with brokerage management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Nice to Have
-
Commercial insurance experience.
-
Exposure to underwriting and market placement activities.
-
Experience handling referrals and complex insurance risks.
-
CAIB designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset.
