JOHNIE COX, II:
It’s a fast-paced, exciting role. It’s a role that’s very forward-facing towards the customer…The responsibilities include– not only educating the customer about the adequate coverages that they need– but also explaining the benefits of Allstate.
SHAWNN DENNIS:
I would describe my responsibilities– as being able to offer– a wide portfolio of expertise to each customer, when they call in– being able to have … educated conversations about their needs, their goals, and really just kind of diving in and protecting their current assets.
JOHNIE COX, II:
The calls that you will get will be inbound…There isn’t a cold calling process. There isn’t… calling out to people and trying to get them on the phone to even have a conversation. // Most of the calls that you will get will be routed in from a customer who either wants insurance– or needs insurance.
SHAWNN DENNIS:
The financial compensation is great. But the way that you feel inside for helping other people protect their assets is greater.
JOHNIE COX, II:
The work-life balance is awesome…Allstate’s very understanding…They understand that you are a person and you have a life outside of work.

You are required to work nights, weekends, or holidays. But the expectations are set very early on.

You get tons of one on one coachings. Tons of peer support….Different leaders, even from other teams, are always willing and available to step in and help out– with any development.

I had no knowledge of insurance, but Allstate has– a tremendous– new hire program– where you’re orientated into the Allstate culture. And then they give you the training that you need as far as licensing.
SHAWNN DENNIS:
