Job Description
The Product Owner Senior Manager is responsible for designing, leading and developing a team of analysts supporting National General’s Household State Product Management organization. The Product Owner Sr. Manager guides strategic product vision, product discovery and roadmaps to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product. The Product Owner Sr. Manager also collaborates with key stakeholders to guide and execute an integrated communication plan to support awareness and adoption for their product, as applicable. Ensures Enterprise connections to strategies affecting the AoR and/or guides enterprise strategy based on AoR scale/scope of work performed.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach and manage a team with broad skill sets including Project Management, business analytics and performance, and customer experience
• Create, drive and execute holistic product strategy for specific or multiple products in alignment with strategic goals and objectives
• Act as first line of contact for all AORs, advising on the appropriate strategic tone for product with other involved AORs, guiding a roadmap and future state vision
• Participate in larger strategic enterprise programs connected to assigned product, including establishing a point of view for product(s) and leading work tracks assigned to this area from the enterprise programs
• Drive priorities, definition of success and Key Performance Indicators, connecting with the business constantly throughout the product life cycle
• Define and manage KPIs to measure the success and to drive transparency into business outcomes and progress related to the overall product strategy
• Monitor budgets and operational effectiveness; guide strategies for adjusted courses of action
• Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure programs and processes across the entire system are aligned and prioritized
• Look for, lead and develop new initiatives or innovations, providing strategic guidance on improvements; intake new work, prioritize for/with the business and incorporate into product life cycle as appropriate
• Initiate and respond to business opportunities as needed
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 10 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job has supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation offered for this role is $112,000.00 – 196,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
