Job Description
The Lead Product Manager is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of products and portfolio as they relate back to the larger department vision and objectives. The Lead Product Manager partners with the other Product Managers on strategic product vision, product discovery and roadmaps to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product. The Lead Product Manager collaborates with key stakeholders to maintain and execute an integrated communication plan to support awareness and adoption for their product, as applicable. Connects other product owners to enterprise strategy and proactively engages others by identifying impacting enterprise initiatives. Helps guide enterprise strategy based on scale/scope of work performed.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage PMs successfully, Build, Lead and Maintain successful team of PMs, Collaborate on and communicate technical resourcing needs/strategy.
• Advises test selection & setup across multiple environments quickly.
• Generates high value from User Science tools that strongly influences product direction, Able to empathize successfully with different user types to reach successful product conclusions.
• Leads in-person or remote interviews without bias to collect use cases, Uses remote usability resting successfully.
• Defines Product success and Key Performance Indicators, Supports product execution across multiple product teams/SAFe Trains, Guides and manages KPIs to measure the success and to drive transparency into business outcomes and progress related to the overall product strategy.
• Uses basic story writing, bugs, roadmap mgmt. tools, Uses basic analytics, Constructs prototypes successfully.
• Participates in larger strategic enterprise programs connected to assigned product.
• Proactively solves potential problems with other product teams, Effectively influences the priorities of other squads/functions, Partners regularly with executive stakeholders.
• Communicates Product updates to executive stakeholders, Communicates clearly in group meetings, Writes and gives presentations to enterprise, Leads and facilitates business area processes.
• Guides, drives and executes holistic product strategy for one or more products, in alignment with department and enterprise strategic goals and objectives Communicates Clearly to Business Stakeholders; writes & gives short presentations.
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
Experience
• 7 or more years of experience (Preferred).
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job has supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
