Job Description
As a Digital Product Management Lead Consultant of the Claim Risk Monitoring Insight Engine, you’ll be contributing towards defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products that assist in Allstate’s claims handling processes.
You’ll assist with establishing strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product. You’ll also help identify assumptions and validate those assumptions using product discovery techniques while working closely with key stakeholders and partners to ensure the successful definition and execution of go-to market and communications strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation and planning to launch and ongoing improvement.

Manages the product backlog, contributes towards creating an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations.

Provide input on decomposing complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for the Product Team.

Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction.
-
Represent the “voice of the customer”; invest significant time with current and potential customers to understand their needs and habits.

Define and manage metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy.

Authors, tests, and accepts stories.
-
Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on decisions about product strategy.

Contribute towards creating the product strategy for one or more products in our growing D3 product portfolio.

Work with data scientists and data engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring the product vision and strategy to life.
Experience/Qualifications

3 + years of hands-on experience building products, strategies or processes
-
Claims experience is desired.

Experience with Casualty Claims is a plus but not required
-
Data Literacy: Ability to navigate complex data landscapes, leveraging insights to inform product decisions

Agile Processes: Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., iterations, point systems, refinements)

Adaptability: Comfort operating in an agile environment with ambiguity
Education & Experience (in lieu)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
