Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting the Accounting operations which cuts across the Auto, Property, Allstate Benefits, Commercial, Life & Retirement and other businesses. The individual will coordinate with SME’s and Regional leadership to drive daily operations positively impacting customer service, quality, and business performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Completes accounting transactional requests received from internal and external customers, agencies, mortgage companies through the various channels
- Develop process expertise by understanding the End-to-end process flow to build confidence and credibility with Customers / Agents / Mortgage companies
- Develop understanding of SOX and regulatory compliance audits to provide an exceptional service experience
- Communicate and respond back to escalations within the given timelines
- Demonstrate a problem-solving mindset to support Change Management / TG initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with equivalent experience or MBA in Finance
- Basic knowledge of General Leger, Account Receivables and Account Payables
- Applies knowledge of analytical procedures to reconcile and recognize patterns of data
- Attention to detail, time management skills and exceptional initiative & follow up skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and work independently
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Communication skill – Email writing skill, Able to comprehend points discussed on call with onshore
- General ledger and posting knowledge
- Research and investigation skill to reach out to root cause
Education
• 3 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 0-3 years experience (Preferred)
