Job Description
The Associate Manager is responsible for implementing and executing Learning & Development strategy, programs, processes, accountabilities, and/or policies to deliver customer-centered products in an efficient and cost-effective manner that align to business unit and enterprise strategies.
This role is responsible for managing and leading a team of technical trainers who provide instruction on accurate estimating practices for Homeowners/Property and Catastrophe (CAT) claims. The position includes approximately five direct reports and may also involve facilitating and delivering training sessions as needed. This is an exciting, brand-new, in-person role based in our Dallas, Texas Allstate Claims University. The ideal candidate will bring several years of leadership experience, along with recent hands-on expertise in writing estimates and negotiations with agreed prices. Key Responsibilities
• Assist in leading, developing and coaching a high-performing, agile team while fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement withing the Learning & Development function; Develops learning offerings and services directly and through an agile team.
• Actively partners with business partners, client services, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that integrated talent management practices are understood and supported consistently within the learning offerings.
• Collaborates or directs team to collaborate with subject matter experts, to ensure training content aligns with business needs
• Reviews new learning offerings created by team to ensure it meets team standards and is aligned with business unit and/or enterprise goals.
• Partners with stakeholders to ensure that learning offerings, processes, and employee communications are aligned to business and enterprise strategy; develops learning offerings, in line with team standards, either directly or through the team.
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job has supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Functional Skills:
- Instructor-Led and Self-Paced Training: Experienced in delivering both instructor-led and self-paced training sessions ensuring knowledge retention and engagement.
- Assessments and Feedback: Strong skills in utilizing assessments and feedback mechanisms to track and identify learning gaps.

Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is $76,200 -$136,345 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
