Job Description
The Software Engineer Lead Consultant architects and designs their digital products using modern tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems. Apply a systematic application of scientific and technological knowledge, methods, and experience to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software. They own and manage running their application in production, and ultimately becomes accountable for the success of their digital products through achieving KPIs.
Looking for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys working across the stack and owning systems end-to-end.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with modern .NET and has experience working with production systems, legacy code, and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Participate in inceptions and iteration planning meetings, infusing backlogs with technical input working in close partnership with the product manager
- Partners in collaboration and strategy alignment across product portfolios (cross-product) in partnership with product managers, other peers and key stakeholders
- Serves as an expert on one or more business domain and a distinguished advocate of multiple technology stacks and shares that knowledge across organizations
- Leads and participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
- Leads and participates in retrospectives; demonstrating and encouraging each participant to provide feedback with empathy
- Provides support for software products in user environments
- Coaches the team and leads daily practices of using paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products
- Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices
Additional Responsibilities and Role Characteristics
- Leadership 100% technical, based on ownership rather than supervision of personnel.
- Responsible for projects from start to finish, including analysis, development, QA, deployment, and support in production.
- Focused on improvements, cloud migration, API creation, and support of existing applications, including Blazor, REST APIs, Web Services, and some legacy solutions like console apps.
- Execute full project lifecycle: migrate, rewrite, analyze, understand, and act on code without prior documentation.
- Participate in deployments, ensuring projects meet timelines and quality standards.
Tech stack & experience we’re looking for:
- C# / .NET (Core / .NET 6–8)
- REST APIs, ASP.NET
- Entity Framework, SQL.
- Front-end experience with Angular, React, Blazor or Razor
- Strong foundation in OOP, SOLID principles, Dependency Injection
- Unit Testing, TDD, CI/CD
- Experience working on full project lifecycles (design, development, deployment, production support)
- Exposure to cloud environments and migrations (Azure / AWS is a plus)
- Tools: GitHub, Copilot
