Your role in the team
The Service Manager is responsible for leading a risk focused reporting and analytics service within the TORC organisation, combining strong service management capability with a deep background in data, analytics, frontend visualisation, and data automation.
The role owns the delivery of trusted dashboards and insight products that support first line risk oversight, ensuring risk data is transformed into clear, timely, and actionable insights. This includes leading frontend dashboard creation, shaping analytical approaches, and ensuring strong data quality, governance, and control.
In addition to reporting and analytics, the role drives data automations that improve efficiency across TORC, enabling other teams to reduce manual effort, streamline processes, and rely on consistent, repeatable data outputs to support their day-to-day risk activities.

Engage resources to facilitate escalation/resolution of technology issues raised by the business units

Manages day to day work of employees by monitoring budgets, expenses, scope, and facilitating project delivery and support for projects of critical importance.

Executes team strategy in support of Enterprise goals, clearly communicating strategy to the team

Deliver a wide range of services including onsite delivery leadership for major projects

Direct the business in navigating through the process for acquiring products and services

Engage technology resources in providing solutions which assure stability, minimize burden and enhance competitive posture to meet business demand.

Own the delivery of regulatory and compliance reporting, dashboards, and visualisations, ensuring outputs are accurate, controlled, auditable, and suitable for regulatory scrutiny.

Lead frontend reporting and dashboard creation, either hands-on or through the team, designing clear, consistent visualisations that present complex risk and compliance data in an understandable and defensible way.

Apply strong data and visualisation expertise to define metrics, controls, visual standards, and analytical approaches that support regulatory oversight and compliance assurance.

Translate regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements into data, reporting, and analytical solutions, ensuring reporting evidences control effectiveness and highlights emerging risks.

Lead the team’s maturity from reporting into analytics, developing capability to move beyond descriptive metrics into insight led analysis that identifies trends, anomalies, and control gaps.

Drive data automation, including automated data ingestion, transformation, refresh, and validation to reduce manual effort while improving reliability, traceability, and repeatability.

Ensure strong data quality, governance, and control, including clear ownership, consistent definitions, lineage, and auditability of both automated data pipelines and frontend reporting outputs.

Manage the relationship between the team and a business unit, understanding the business roadmap and developing and delivering timely communications to the business relevant to the technology roadmap, including business area implications.
