Make an Impact Through Insightful Financial Reporting & Analysis
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Consultant II to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting complex accounting processes, and ensuring the integrity of financial results across multiple entities.
This is more than a traditional accounting role—you’ll gain broad exposure across business units and finance functions, work on dynamic, high-impact projects, and develop a deeper understanding of how financial statements interconnect across a complex organization.
What You’ll Do
As an Accounting Consultant II, you will own and execute critical day-to-day accounting and reporting activities, while also contributing to process improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and support financial statements (GAAP and statutory), including related schedules and disclosures
- Perform financial consolidations, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany transactions
- Maintain and analyze general ledger activity, ensuring transactions are recorded appropriately
- Prepare journal entries, account analyses, and variance explanations to support the monthly close
- Execute and review account reconciliations, including those involving complex accounting processes
- Validate system functionality and ensure accounting rules and processes operate correctly
- Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple finance teams and business units
- Contribute to and lead process improvement and transformation initiatives
What You Bring
Required
- CPA or CPA-eligible (actively pursuing or completed educational requirements)
- Experience with financial reporting and general ledger accounting
- Strong understanding of how financial statements are constructed and interrelated
- Knowledge of accounting principles and transaction flows
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Consolidations experience in a multi-entity environment
- Experience working in a complex or large-scale organization
