Job Description
This Vice President Casualty Claims Delivery role was established to address increasing claim complexity and severity by introducing dedicated senior leadership focused on execution, performance, and outcomes across Casualty. The role provides clear ownership of high-severity and high-cost segments, ensuring accountability for loss cost performance, severity management, and expense control. Responsible for end-to-end delivery and operational performance, the Vice President Casualty Claims Delivery drives consistency in claim execution, reinforces escalation discipline, and ensures adherence to established claim handling standards. Ultimately, this position is designed to strengthen accountability for financial results, improve consistency and predictability in claim outcomes, and enhance operational rigor and control.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a large geographically dispersed Claims organization.

Drive results through continuous improvement, portfolio management, product implementation, prioritization and incremental technology budget oversight and contract support.

Achieve income target by leading execution of strategy and processes to manage severity for their territory and increasing deployable capital by achieving claims expense ratio targets.

Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to drive efficiencies to achieve targeted growth of the business by exceeding country-wide customer satisfaction goals and extending claim technology strategies to support growth.

Point of contact for line of business to SVP providing counsel in making strategic plans to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Create and execute a sound talent development strategy for claims anticipating changing business circumstances.

Motivate and provide leadership to team members and ensure the proper allocation of employees to the highest priority deliverables; ensure employees have the appropriate structure, tools, resources, required to perform their job at the highest levels.

Ensure the development of a diverse pool of talent to meet current and future organizational needs.

Experience and Education

A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility and achievement in Claims, Finance, Operations, and/or Project Management leadership roles.

Extensive experience leading large cross-functional teams; exceptional project management skills.

4 years Bachelors Degree (Strongly Preferred)
