Job Description
The Product Manager Lead Consultant is responsible for contributing towards defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products in Allstate’s growing product portfolio. The Product Manager Lead Consultant assists with establishing strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product. Successful Product Managers help to identify assumptions and validate those assumptions using product discovery techniques. We are seeking Digital Product Managers for multiple opportunities within Allstate Canada. These roles are across several key product domains including Finance, Billing & Payment, Broker Management and Policy Management. In this role, you will lead the discovery, delivery, and continuous improvement of digital products. You will translate business problems, customer insights, and data into clear product outcomes, working closely with engineering, design, data, business, and stakeholder teams to shape roadmaps, prioritise backlogs, and deliver measurable value.
This is an opportunity to help build product capability across diverse product teams rather than one single focused role. Customer-facing roles will require a strong customer experience focus, while backend and headless product roles will require API awareness and a clear understanding of value-led delivery.

Accountabilities

Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear product outcomes, success measures, and prioritized delivery plans across varied product domains.

Own and refine product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and release priorities in partnership with engineering, design, data, business, and stakeholder teams.

Define and track measurable product outcomes, including OKRs, KPIs, adoption metrics, customer experience measures, and value delivery indicators.

Use customer insights, analytics, research, feedback, and behavioural data to identify opportunities, validate decisions, and improve digital product performance.

Lead product discovery and delivery activities within agile, product-led, or OBD ways of working, ensuring priorities are aligned to customer value and business goals.

Partner with stakeholders to manage dependencies, communicate progress, resolve ambiguity, and support informed product decision-making across varying levels of complexity.

Support customer-facing product teams by championing customer experience, usability, engagement, and measurable customer outcomes.

Support backend or headless product teams by applying API awareness, technical curiosity, and value-led prioritisation to product decisions.

Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating product performance, identifying risks or opportunities, and recommending enhancements that improve outcomes.
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a product-led environment, evidenced by conducting or ownership of roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, sprint priorities, releases, or product discovery.

Experience using product and customer data, insights, or feedback to improve customer engagement, customer experience, or customer-facing digital product journeys.

Experience translating business objectives into measurable product outcomes using OKRs, KPIs, adoption targets, customer experience measures, revenue, cost, efficiency, or value metrics.

Experience working with cross-functional stakeholder groups, such as engineering, design, data, operations, business, or leadership, to prioritise delivery and make evidence-based product decisions.

Experience using product management tools, such as Agility or equivalent, to manage backlogs, user stories, and releases.
