Job Description
The Infrastructure Analyst III supports asset lifecycle activities, including procurement, inventory tracking, deployment, maintenance, refresh, and disposal of hardware assets. The role assists in monitoring asset compliance, maintaining accurate asset records, generating asset-related metrics and reports, and supporting integration with asset management and IT service management systems. Additionally, the Consultant I prioritizes and responds to inquiries from service desk teams, technical specialists, and business stakeholders, maintains asset governance documentation, coordinates hardware inventory audits, implements asset management process improvements, and supports communication, training, and awareness initiatives related to hardware asset management practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, transfer, refresh, return, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory records and ensure data integrity in IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools and CMDB.
- Monitor stock levels, weekly Physical stock verification and perform reconciliations activity with IT Asset Tools.
- Coordinate technology refresh programs and track asset replacement activities.
- Manage IT asset disposal and scrap processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Prepare and analyze inventory, refresh, compliance, and utilization reports.
Eligibility Criteria
- 2–4 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Inventory Management, IT Operations, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing end-user computing assets such as laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and inventory control processes.
- Experience supporting audits, asset reconciliation, and compliance activities.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with ITAM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, and reporting.
- Knowledge of CMDB, ITIL framework, and IT Service Management processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in a large enterprise or multi-location environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
