Job Description
The Quality Assurance Consultant II is responsible for researching and resolving escalated and complex internal/external audit findings, complaints, escalations, incidents, system and procedure fails, as well as opportunities for process improvement. This role is also responsible for determining root cause and developing a remediation plan, participating in project management and overseeing resolution of assigned project to ensure delivered services meet internal and external needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Auditor
- Identify opportunities and collaborate to resolve at the root cause.
- Improve and innovate through automation and process design to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Ability to complete the Audits within SLA for self and team.
Insights
- Understanding where to focus our audits to deliver Business Insights
- Identify business/process links for Quality and process simplification & driving operational improvements
- Transition Focus- Help to design Quality processes during transition to deliver Insights and efficiencies on the onset
Process Management
- Select an Area of Responsibility (AOR) and become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for that AOR by understanding its upstream and downstream linkages
- Manage all RCPS and ideas related to that AOR, ensuring timely completion.
- Oversee the team's compliance with all necessary regulatory training and access guidelines.
- Escalates issues as required to support functionality of required line of business systems and tools
- Provides line of business with internal reporting on findings
- Provides clear and concise explanations on findings
- Reviews and researches all types of complex audit findings, complaints, escalations, incidents, process breaks, and opportunities for improvement
- Education
- Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
- Experience
- 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- This job does not have supervisory duties.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth Knowledge of Auto Claims Processes – Proven experience in handling and managing end-to-end Property insurance claims efficiently.
- Strong Communication Skills – Effective in verbal and written communication across various stakeholders and teams.
- Comprehensive Insurance Domain Expertise – Well-versed in industry practices, policy interpretation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in Excel for Reporting – Skilled in using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with Quality Tools and Reports – Hands-on experience with tools like QMT, WFT, and BO for monitoring and improving quality.
- Analytical Thinking – Capable of interpreting complex data sets and deriving actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Adept at identifying and collaborating with relevant internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
