Job Description
The Risk Management and Data Analysis Lead Consultant leads the strategic initiative to provide risk/return expertise to the organization. This role has deep insights across business/functional areas to challenge and report. This role is responsible for implementing and influencing the Enterprise Risk and Return Management (ERRM) frameworks across Allstate. The ERRM framework consists of tools, standards, and risk processes through which directs and assists Market Facing Businesses and Areas of Responsibility to identify and assess risk, mitigate risk in accordance with appetite and analyze and understand the risk environment overall.
Key Responsibilities

May participate in various governance, working groups, MFB/AOR and project meetings related to risk and control matters assuring an open environment for collaboration, risk identification and mitigation

Communicate complex ideas and findings clearly and concisely to a broad audience and ensures understanding of technical matters by non-technical executive decision makers and builds consensus to drive decisions

Develop creative solutions to solving business problems and welcome flexible, out-of-the-box thinking
-
Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to Data Analytic problems combining technical expertise with analytics and comprehensive business experience
-
Provide insightful, actionable analysis using in-depth knowledge of insurance and finance issues, having mastered the industry skills necessary to access and apply data relevant to the issue and demonstrating proficiency in the relevant software tools

May contribute to support Enterprise Risk and Return Council (ERRC), Operational Risk and Return Council (ORRC) and Board Risk and Return Committee (RRC) reporting

Influence the appropriate management of risk, including identify, measure, manage, monitor, report and escalate significant risk issues, and an escalation structure to optimize risk and return.

Identify, measure, manage, monitor, report and escalate significant risk issues; review, research, interpret and analyze risk data to identify trends, emerging risks and issues.

Support the ERRM Leadership in identifying emerging risk, evaluating risk, monitoring the status of strategic initiatives, and communicating changes in our risk profile.

Contribute to and execute team strategy in support of Enterprise Risk and Return objectives
Qualifications
-
5 years or more of experience in enterprise risk management, data analytics, or a related discipline (Preferred)
-
Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex risk scenarios and develop actionable solutions
-
Working knowledge of data governance principles, including data quality, lineage, stewardship, and compliance
-
Experience conducting risk assessments, developing risk models, or supporting quantitative/qualitative risk evaluations
-
Experience working with GRC Tools such as Archer, Fusion, ServiceNow, etc.
-
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of basic cloud and data architecture concepts
-
Proficiency with analytical and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical and risk-related topics for executive and non-technical audiences
Education
4-year Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
Experience
5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation offered for this role is $92,560.00 – 166,465.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
